Description
In addition to a long-beaked mask, the plague doctor’s traditional costume is often worn with a wide-brimmed physician’s hat and mantle. Introduced in 2017, The Mantle, is one of the plague doctor accessories created by Tom Banwell (along with the hat, staff and pouch).
It is made of heavy weight top grain cowhide, and feels great to the touch. It offers a nice transition between your mask and your robe. The collar is finished with a deerskin binding, and it fastens with three hidden snaps in front, so it is easy to put on and off.
